Thank you for choosing The Thinking Cap Tutoring Centre to support your child through school, and we’re excited to have you on board! We would love for you to have a fantastic experience with us. There are a few things we would like you to know.

Primary Tutoring 

• The lesson consists of 1 hour of English and 1 hour of Mathematics.
• Lessons are offered once a week over the duration of the term. 

High School Tutoring

• We cover all subjects including all Levels of Mathematics, all levels of English, Year 7-10 Science, Senior Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Legal Studies, Business Studies, Economics, Studies of Religion, PDHPE, Modern History, Ancient History and Geography. 
• The lesson consists of 2 hours for the chosen subject.
• Lessons are offered once a week over the duration of the term. 

We don’t want your child to fall behind, so students are expected to attend every lesson to get the best value from tutoring. If a lesson falls on a public holiday, we will organise a replacement class. 

If your child is unable to attend a lesson, let us know the day before by calling us on 0415 625 525, and we will try to arrange a makeup lesson for them. We will do our utmost best to arrange a makeup lesson, but if we cannot achieve this, then the lesson’s cost is non-refundable. 

Please note there are no credits for missed lessons when no notice is given, or notice is provided on the day of the lesson.

Our one on ones are $47.50 /hour for K-10 and $62.50/hour for Year 11 & Year 12. These classes are usually reserved for students who have an upcoming exam or an assessment or students who really need that extra help. Note: Any extra group classes set by The Thinking Cap Tutoring Centre will incur charges of $55 per 2-hour lesson.

Fees are due within four weeks of your enrolment each term and can be paid via cash, EFTPOS or online bank transfers.
